Anti-wrinkle treatment is a non-surgical procedure that reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles on the skin. Small amounts of Botox are expertly injected to target specific areas of the face. The treatment works by relaxing the muscles that cause the wrinkles, and leaves the skin looking more youthful and rejuvenated.
Many patients will choose to have anti-wrinkle injections on the upper face and will have three areas injected. These areas are the forehead, crow’s feet and frown lines. Although these areas are a popular choice for patients, Botox can be used to treat many other areas of the face and body.

We will start your appointment by taking a full medical history. This is to determine that you are suitable for treatment and allows us to answer any questions you may have. Before we proceed with the treatment we also make sure that we fully understand the results that you want to achieve so that we can confidently manage your expectations. We will inform you of all the risks and benefits of having the treatment, and give you time to think through your decisions, in line with best practices.

We will start your appointment with a consultation and by taking a full medical history. This is to determine that you are suitable for treatment.
You may feel a short, sharp scratch as you are injected, but most patients don’t find the procedure to be painful.
Anti-wrinkle treatments are a straightforward procedure and can be administered relatively quickly. A 30 minute appointment slot will be sufficient for most procedures.
Upper face Botox will last between 3 and 4 months. Results for other areas may last longer. We will discuss how long you can expect your treatment to last at your consultation.
Anti-wrinkle injections are a safe and effective anti-ageing treatment when administered by a medically trained aesthetics practitioner. At our aesthetic clinics in Bromley and London, we take patient safety very seriously. We are a SaveFace registered clinic, which means we are on a government approved register of accredited practitioners and we have passed a rigorous 116 point safety assessment, and we adhere to the SaveFace standards.
After your anti-wrinkle injections we advise not touching the area for 2 hours, not exposing yourself to extreme heat, such as sunbeds, steam rooms and saunas, and to avoid excessive exercise the same day. We will take you through a list of the full aftercare instructions at the time of your procedure.
Botox injections are not recommended for pregnant or breastfeeding women. There is no clear research on the effects of anti-wrinkle injections on unborn babies. For safety reasons, we don’t offer treatment to pregnant women in case some risks are unknown to us.
We can only inject adults who are over 18 with Botox, and we will only inject patients after having a consultation with us first. Anti-wrinkle injections can be used as a preventative measure to stop wrinkles from forming. We assess each patient as an individual and will determine your suitability for this treatment before we administer anti-wrinkle injections.
