This is a regenerative treatment prepared from your own blood. Using the Metacell Tech® (MCT) system, we refine autologous exosomes – naturally occurring messengers your cells already produce – so they can be returned to the skin or scalp where support is needed.
Unlike many high-street “exosome” facials (often cosmetic products that cannot be injected), MCT Exosomes are an autologous medical preparation, used under medical supervision after consultation.
Exosomes are tiny messengers that help cells communicate. With MCT, we take a blood sample, prepare platelet-rich plasma, then process it through Metacell Tech® using controlled light and temperature. The exosomes prepared are naïve and autologous – from you, not from plants, animals, another person, or a lab-engineered vial.
They can be applied by microneedling or superficial injection, depending on what we agree is appropriate.
PRP uses your platelet-rich plasma. MCT Exosomes are prepared from that same blood sample through further processing, so we can work with a more refined regenerative fraction. Many patients have MCT Exosomes as part of a plan that may also include enhanced PRP (MCT Plasma). We’ll advise which approach suits you – there’s no one-size-fits-all.

The process starts with a simple blood draw. Your blood is then processed to extract PRP, which is fed into the MCT device. The exosomes are harvested using controlled heat and light. Once ready, the exosomes are applied to your skin or scalp, either through microneedling or superficial injections, depending on the area and desired outcome.
Most patients find the treatment very tolerable. You may feel slight pressure or a pricking sensation during the blood draw or microneedling, but any discomfort is minimal and short-lived. A topical numbing cream is applied beforehand to ensure comfort throughout.

Results can last 6 to 12 months, depending on your skin condition, age, and lifestyle. Maintenance treatments are recommended every few months to sustain collagen production and cellular repair.
