What are non-surgical facelifts using dermal fillers?
Non-surgical facelifts using dermal fillers are an effective way of creating the look of a surgical facelift. Unlike a traditional facelift, this treatment doesn’t require anaesthetic, or a long period of downtime for patients to recover.
The treatment is non-invasive and uses needles or cannulas to inject the dermal filler in the correct areas to give the face a firmer, plumper, more lifted look.
What areas of the face can a non-surgical facelift treat?
The lower, mid and upper face can all be treated using dermal fillers. Dr Liesel Holler assesses each patient on an individual basis, taking into account their features and areas of the face they would like to rejuvenate.
A traditional facelift will give patients longer lasting results, however a surgical facelift is an expensive option and will require a lot of time off work, or time off from your usual day to day activities to recover.
In comparison, a non-surgical facelift with dermal filler will require little to no downtime. After this treatment you may experience redness, or you may be a little bit bruised or swollen, but these side effects shouldn’t stop you from continuing with your daily routine.
Can I combine a non-surgical facelift with other treatments?
You can have a combination of different treatments that can complement your non-surgical facelift, although if you are having other treatments it may be necessary to spread out your appointments.
Many people will have Botox to treat the forehead, crows feet and frown lines in conjunction with having a non-surgical facelift. Treatments that improve the look of the neck area can be a popular option for non-surgical facelift patients.
